Abstract

A seven-year-old Shetland ewe presented with a history of chronic weight loss, abdominal distension and intermittent abdominal discomfort. Serum protein levels and abdominal ultrasonographic findings were suggestive of intestinal adenocarcinoma, and the diagnosis was confirmed on postmortem examination.
